Welcome to the web pages of PowerScene Magazine, the new railway magazine from LocoWatch Video. Each issue will provide the viewer with a round-up of news and events from across the national network and the UK's numerous heritage railways. Concentrating purely on the modern traction scene, PowerScene Magazine will cover news events, such as namings, the unveiling of new rolling stock and service alterations on the passenger and freight network. Also included will be a look at events on the heritage lines such as diesel gala's and the arrival of new or visiting locomotives.

Each issue will last for a minimum of 60 minutes and will be packed full of interesting stories and features which will keep you up to date with the railway scene. Each programme, will include at least three feature sections, each looking at a different topic within the UK, with the occasional European feature.

PowerScene Magazine is the magazine for you, the viewers. As such, we'd like your input whether in a visual or text form. Do you have an idea for a feature? Is there an event coming up that our camera's should be at? Do you own a digital video camera and have filmed something which may interest us? Issue Three will be available shortly from all our recommended retailers and direct from ourselves. Subscriptions are not currently available for PowerScene Magazine, although we hope to launch our subscription service around the launch of issue three. The subscriptions will run for one year and will cover three programmes. Further details will be available nearer the time.

We welcome readers contributions to PowerScene Magazine. In normal circumstances we can only accept contributions filmed with MiniDV, Digital 8 or other digital format camera's and using a tripod. If you would like to contribute, either on a one-off or permanant basis, and would like advice on how to go about this, please feel free to contact us - we're happy to help if we can!

Ordering programmes direct from LocoWatch Video is easy. Just send a cheque or postal order made payable to LOCOWATCH VIDEO, together with a covering letter detailing the programmes you wish to order, to our mail order department and we'll do the rest! Don't forget to include your name and address!
