New DVD Magazine
launched by LocoWatch Video
The 1st August saw the launch
of Britain's newest magazine programme produced specifically for
the modern traction, railway enthusiast.
The new programme, called POWERScene
Magazine, is dedicated to modern traction, mainly within the United
Kingdom, but occasional features on European and world subjects
will be included. POWERScene Magazine marks a turning point for
LocoWatch Video, in that it is the first of our programmes to be
solely distributed on DVD.
POWERScene Magazine is designed
to provide the viewer with an interesting, quality news magazine.
Three issues will be released per year, in June, October and February.
Issue 1's news coverage includes
Construction of the new Siemens electric units for Heathrow Connect,
Class 90s on the North Berwick Branch, Glastonbury Shuttle Trains,
The unveiling of green liveried 47815 at Bristol St. Philips Marsh,
NRM's 55002 moves to Barrow Hill and Class
37 Reductions. In addition, our NewsExtra features the Mid-Hants
Railway diesel gala in late May.
We say Farewell to the Class
56s with a brief look at the class on their final working and on
the very last railtour. we visit the North Yorkshire Moors Railway
for their annual diesel gala and there is a look at passenger and
freight traffic in the Aire Valley, including a behind the scenes
visit to Drax Power Station.

PowerScene Magazine is produced on DVD only by LocoWatch Video and
will be released three times a year in June, October and February.
LocoWatch Video was started
